First let me apologize for taking so long to get this prayer letter out. I will not make any excuses we have just been far too busy to keep up is all.

There is so much work to do and so little workers to help with everything. I think the best way I can break it down for you all is to tell you all the ministries that have been started in the 4 years we have been here, and then you can see for yourself how badly we need workers.

*Mission Church in Red Valley: This is the main reason we came here, to start a church in the Red Valley, Cove area in Arizona. It’s 40 miles from our house and we run the bus route three times a week for services.

*Navajo Baptist Temple: The pastor is Bro. Jimmy Walters, great man of God. Unfortunately his job required him to begin working nights again so we help fill in on Wend. Night and David (our 16 year old son) preaches for him on Sunday nights. We also try to be there for anything Bro. Walters needs us for as he has been such a great blessing and help to us in the ministry.

*Shiprock Jail: I am chaplain of the jail and preach to the men on Thursdays and Sunday afternoon. Ms. Carol Wallman took over devotions on the ladies side for me.

*Northern Navajo Nation Medical Center: (Shiprock Hospital) I am chaplain of the hospital and visit at least once a week, or if they call me in.

*Red Valley Middle School After School Bible Club: Held on Wednesdays after school.

Then there are the ministries that I have gotten into, or asked to be chaplain or take charge of and am unable to due to lack of time.

*Boys and Girls Homes:

(two separate orphanages)

*Shiprock High School After School Bible Program: I actually got permission to go into the Shiprock High School and do an after school program but I don’t have the help I need to do all these things. It pains me though because this is a 3A size school with over 3,000 students. Please pray for me to work something out that we can get the funds and the workers to get into this school regularly before this door closes.

*The Juvenile Detention and Rehabilitation Center: This is a rehab. Program for alcoholics ages 12-18. They called me in last week and said they needed me to preach to the kids once a week.

*IFB Network also offered to put a radio station on this property in Shiprock. It would reach 50 miles in any direction and we would be allowed to play any preaching tapes we chose including those in the Navajo Language. I have not even had time to think about such a HUGE project. Who would run it? How would we manage, so I have never gotten back with them about it.

I love that the Lord has opened so many doors for us here. But I really need your prayers in juggling all these things. We also need dedicated, sold out workers to help us. I didn’t even mention our teen groups and classes and bus routes ect. My family is a tremendous help and I don’t think I could ever do all this without their dedicated involvement. In teaching, preaching, visitation, cleaning, and manual labor. I literally could not do it without them.
