Other Fiberglass Trailer Manufacturers

We don't know the complete history of Boler Trailers, but it appears that Scamp Trailers has the rights to Boler and is manufacturing them in Backus Minnesota. Many of the new Scamp parts fit old Bolers. We bought a gravel guard (window cover) from the factory and it fits perfectly! Please note that the Scamp parts department has had a lot of trouble shipping to Canada. We had someone pick up this part for us.

Trillium Trailers  are manufactured again in Alberta by Team Trillium, under the name Out Back.  In the summer of 2005, we stopped by International RV (Team Trillium) in Calgary and saw some of the moulds for the trailers. At International RV, they also do complete trailer overhauls. We saw a Surfside completely stripped down to the bare fiberglass. It was a very interesting field trip. The staff are very helpful.

Escape Trailers is another Canadian company. These trailers are 17 feet long. They are similar to Bolers and Casitas. This website provides very detailed interior and exterior pictures of these trailers.

Bigfoot Trailers are another Canadian-made fiberglass trailer manufactured in B.C. They used to come in 13 foot models, but now they only come in 17.5, 21, and 25 foot models.

Here are some American companies that still make similar trailers. Check out these websites too.
 Casita Trailers .
 Burro Trailers

T@B Trailers  These trailers look much like classic teardrops, but only one model (clam shell) is closest to the true teardrop design. The others are arranged like Surfsides (kitchen in the front and bed/dinette in the back). These are such incredible trailers! They are very solid, and well, way too funky! The dealer here in Saskatoon must think that I'm a crazy woman because I'm always in there drooling! Will this be the next trailer in my "fleet"??  My husband shudders to think!

Of course, we can't forget the cute Eriba Pucks manufactured in Europe.

I recently saw a trailer called a Cloud, from St. Cloud Minnesota. It was fairly old, but I couldn't find a date. I would guess that it was made in the 1970s. It looked similar to the Burro.

My parents (in Ontario) saw a small fiberglass trailer called a Cadet. It has an almost teardrop shape.

Keep your eyes peeled for more fiberglass trailers!
