The
ultimate secret agent vehicle. The BMW Z8 is a superb sports car made even
better by Q and his new assistant R, who have packed it full of advanced
technology - including the absolute latest in intercepts, surveillance
and countermeasures. The car is fitted with Titanium plating and armour,
a multitasking head-up display, and six beverage cup holders. Completely
indestructible, and all in all, rather well stocked.
The
car also boasts a manoeuvrable ground-to-air missile launching pad, and
a needle thin "sonic" laser beam which allows 007 to listen in on conversations
taking place in buildings in the vicinity of the car. As usual, rockets
are fitted behind the headlamps.
Set to become the "big brother" to the Z3, which was introduced in GoldenEye, the Z8 will use the mighty 5,0 litre V8 powerplant to push 300kW of power through the rear wheels of this mean machine, allowing 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. "We
