Peter Lamont had a glaring absence from Tomorrow Never Dies, especially since he has worked as production designer on every Bond Film since For Your Eyes Only, and in other capacities since the Sean Connery era. His work on Titanic a success, he has now returned to the Bond fold, and we can all expect great things (particularly in terms of grandiose sets). A Production Designer's job is both a creative and a practical one, a good example of his work might be the internal design of the MI6 building. Responsible for "putting every pound spent up on screen", there is no one better than Peter Lamont to make The World Is Not Enough look lavish and expensive. |
