What's New- September 99
Want to go to a Bond Premiere?

MGM have announced that the UK Premiere of The World Is Not Enough will be on Monday 22nd November. The announcement, which was made several days ago, took the form of a press release, and confirmed that the event will take place at the Leicester Square Odeon. The charity benefiting will be Children's Promise.
The Leicester Square Odeon is part of the 007 tradition, with nearly all the Bond films having their charity premiere there. The events are usually attended by the film's cast and other major celebrities. This premiere will be no exception - virtually the entire cast is expected to be there, including Pierce Brosnan, Robert Carlyle, Denise Richards, Sophie Marceau, Robbie Coltrane, Dame Judi Dench and Desmond Llewellyn, to name but a few. Also present will be director Michael Apted and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who will be celebrating the millennium alongside special guests promoting the charity.
Sara Donaldson, director of the Millennium Experience, who organize Children's Promise, said "Everyone working in the team is tremendously excited about this premiere and hugely grateful for the exposure it gives the appeal."

Tickets for the premiere went on sale today.

SEPTEMBER 30th Sorry, but there will be no more updates to this site as I will be overseas for 12 months from October 3rd!

I think that most aspects of the film are already covered though - apart from Garbage's Title Song, which I understand is already being played on some radio stations around the world, and of course the film itself, which needless to say premieres on November 19th in the US and 26th in the UK (I wonder if there is a French Première...?)

Don't overlook the menu on the left, which will take you to various aspects of the production, as well as all the previous site updates - and if you want to be kept really up to date with the news, visit either Ben Zimmerman's excellent Bond Is Back, or The IFF's Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. And before I forget - remember to pop into The World Is Not Enough's Official Site every now and then...
