HOW IT ALL BEGAN
This is quite a funny story.
I went to look for a computer at a store at Liverpool and Mark and I just hit it off from there. That was on 19th June 1996 and we went to the movies the following week and saw "Up Close and Personal".
I guess the rest is history.
That of course was Saturday, 29th June 1996. And that means that we are getting married on the exact day of our 6 year anniversary.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED
It took quite a long time for Mark to finally ask me but he did finally propose on Friday, 1st October 1999 while at a very secretive long weekend away at Corlette Heights. A very romantic weekend. If anyone is looking for a great bed and breakfast at Nelson Bay, let me know. I would be glad to recommend this particular one. Ray is an absolute gem.
The weird thing being that I was hoping he would ask but when Mark did actually get down on bended knee, I was shocked and had no idea what he was doing. This picture below of Mark and I was taken at the restaurant after Mark proposed (Polaroid courtesy of the restaurant).
OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY
Mark and I had our engagment party on Saturday, 29th January 2000. This was held at my old school hall, Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Although the night went quickly and I did not get a chance to mingle with everyone, Mark and I had an absolute ball. This picture below of Mark and I was taken at our engagement party.
