Big Gunpowder Creek is a creek in southwest Boone County flowing into the Ohio River below Rabbit Hash, between Kirtley Lodge and Hamilton. It is 513.5 miles below Pittsburgh, where the Ohio begins, and 467.5 miles from the mouth, where it joins the Mississippi. Just south, at mile 466.4 (from the mouth) is Little Gunpowder Creek.
