Pitman Cloudas (1789? - 1832) first chairman of the town council and first postmaster, Florence.

Pitman Cloudas was born: 1789 or 1790 in Va., and died: 1832 Grant Co., Ky. m. 1 - 11 July 1816 Eleanor Rayburn, Franklin, Ky m. 2 - 18 May 1826 Joice Faulconer d. Joseph Faulconer Lewis, MO 1840, 1850 Mercer, Ky

9 children and 3 slaves in 1830 census; 1829 Boone Co. Tax Rolls, owned 84 acres of land, 2 slaves, 2 horses, 2 stud horses or mules, total value $2,500.

Pitman Cloudas moved to Kentucky in 1810 or 1811. Moved to Boone Co. from Mercer Co., where he was living in 1820 [Kentucky 1820 Mercer Pitman Cloudas (91) 900020-10100)]. Died in Grant Co. 1832
