This is my family tree, with 794 individuals researched and listed so far. My recent ancestors are all from South Louisiana, with earlier generations linked back to Acadia, and France and England before that.
My grandfather was Vincent Anthony LeCompte, Sr., and was apparently born out of wedlock to Alida LeCompte and Jules Favre. By researching those names, I now have the LeCompte branch traced back to the late 1500's! That's 14 generations!
I
have 11 generations on the Mier/Mire branch, back to the late 1600's in France. I have the Richardson branch back to the early 1800's, and the Blount tree to the late 1700's.
