Being a proud owner of two chi's I can thoroughly understand your love for them. I have one named Molly, she is a little over a year old. She too is rambunctious. Full of energy. All she cares to do is wrestle with my teacup chi named Lucy. I got Lucy when she was three months old. She weighs a little over 3 pounds. She is black with tan markings like a Rottweiller. I fell madly in love with her as she is what I always wanted in a chi. They have both been through their first heat season, and I look forward to experiencing what you just did the next season. I love my dogs so very much. I am divorced, I got them after I was divorced. They bring me so much pleasure. I could not imagine not having them. I have a Rottweiller named Gretchen who lives outside. Molly thinks Gretchen was put here to torment her. Molly will act big and bad like " just let me at her ". They are very protective. I have a question, what causes them to spasm out sometimes. What I mean is they will act like they are having a seisure and breathe real heavy and loud. I will pick them up and comfort them and tell them it's okay. I ask my vet about this and was really not satisfied with his answer. He said it isn't painful to them. However, they tense up and their little hearts will be beating to beat the band. I had a chi as a kid and remembering him doing this. So I assume they all do it. I'm sorry for being so long winded, I love to talk about my wonderful children. The guys at work jest with me because I am forever going on about my chi's.
