About the equipment...

My B3 and leslies

I received a call 2 nights before the show. An ominous voice said "I need an organ for Joey". It was Sal calling from New York. The B3 I provided is a combination of a later B-3 box with a '62 A100 residing inside.
One of my Leslies is a Model 251 converted to a 122 by Bob Schleicher (www.tonewheel.com).The larger transformer gave it plenty kick. The other leslie is a 147 cabinet with a 122 amp inside.  Both had Bob S. solid state relays.

During the sound check, Papa John told me "You got a good-sounding box".

Pete Fallico provided a pristeen 1965 B3 and two Leslie 122's for Jimmy Smith.

After the show, Joey reached into my van and autographed my B3, writing "Great Organ, Joey DeFrancesco"
