hi, i use to be dee (engelhardt) freshwater than married a new yorker named don clarkson. i graduated from murray vocational high school and have shagged for the last 40+ years. not fancy just the basic but i have enjoyed it all the time. i have shagge on the sand in front of pete's at folly beach and on the old pier and over to isle of palms. i used to go to bentley's before i married. i really miss shagging since it is not known up here. but i am teaching my husband. keep up the good work. dee clarkson dclarson@linkny.com

I am a great beleiver in shag therepy. There is nothing like a shag on a friday night to relax after a hard week at work. For me the shag is something of beauty, the harder, the faster, the better. Of course one must maintain an element of self control wh le shagging. The tempo and rythm should be maintained to really appreciate the art that is the shag. Hi from a fellow CHS Shag Club Member and Hacker. I Like the site. It looks professionally done. I had an initial problem loading it using Communicator 4.01. It wanted to schroll over on itself. This created an unreadable mess. This may be just the internet, but you might want to check and see if anyone else has had this problem. I did a reload and everything was fine. How about a little history of the club and the shag. Maybe show the basic step in a simple way. The internet is truely an international way of communication. You just might get an international shag dance craze started. (Ballroom dancing is very big in the Philippines.) Lastly. See if you can get listed with Excite or other search engines or some Charleston Link pages. (I have several if you want them.) Keep up the fantastic work. Ed Humble II ehumble@awod.com
