1989 -- The new drummer on "Mothers Milk" was Chad Smith. Most of the drummers they tested were quite good but when Flea started to play all of them got so confused that they didn't know what to do (not to strange). Then they heard about Chad. The only thing they knew about him was that he said he was eating drums for breakfast. They gave him a try and he started to play with so much agression that Kiedis began to laugh. This album turned out quite well. One of the reasons was John and Chad.
