Due to Yahoo's decision to close GeoCities' free web service out of shear greed, this site is now closed.

Apparently, over-charging advertisers for pop-up banners wasn't working out for them. And now they want us to pay $9.99 per month for their "award winning" premium service. Bullshit! That ain't gonna happen. Because, sooner or later, there will be pop-up banners on the "premium" sites, too. Then Yahoo will urge us to upgrade to "super premium" service with no banners for only $19.99 per month. And on and on and on. I don't know about anyone else, but I have simply had enough of corporate greed. Like the cable TV companies charging us to watch commercial television. Like oil companies gouging us at the pumps while gleefully reporting record profits. Like the phone companies trying to convince us that we need the latest gadget to "stay connected" while raping our bank accounts.

Wake the fuck up, people! The economic turmoil in which we find ourselves is a direct result or our own stupidity, arrogance and averice.

Gee...maybe all of this will cause us to get back to the basics in life. Like actually spending time with our families and friends, in person.

Don't bother trying to text me, myspace me, facebook me, or twitter me. I ain't playin' this game...

Yahoo, may you, and the rest of the corporate fuckheads in the world, rot in Hell.
