A little note...

      I got a wild hair and decided my page needed a better look. Honestly that was my first attempt at a webpage and it had an...ummm...ecclectic look. So I found this really cool place on the net where I could get sets of stuff to do webpages and here it is. I hope it is a lot easier on your eyes and if you would like to get a set or two of your own just click on the little link below. I honestly think it is a really cool site.

      This angel is to guard and watch over my friend Annie until she comes home safely. Annie has been my friend for over ten years and although we don't see each other often, I always think of her. She is one of a kind and an angel here on earth. She always puts the needs of others before her own needs. She is one of the most loving and giving people I know. My prayers are with you Annie. May God bring you home safely to your friends and family and watch over you and protect you while you are away.


      Stuff about me...

      My name is Michi (pronounced Mickey) Hudson. I am 34 years old and the mother of four children. I was born in Odessa, TX but lived for a time in Winter Garden, FL before moving to Kermit, TX. I still consider Kermit my home town.

      Like I said before, I am the mom of four beautiful but very onery children who may, or may not, live to see adulthood (Just kidding!). We are going to try to get them their own webpages, so the following links may not work yet.

      I started college at the ripe old age of 21. I took drafting (drawing blueprints) and fell in love with it. I made it my career for four years and then decided it was time for a change. I then moved to Arkansas where I still live and went back to school and dabbled in Computer Information Systems for a time before finally making Spanish my major and Art my minor. I graduated cum laude in May '94, which is no small feat for the mother of four kids. I am a member of Alpha Chi, and was president of both the art club and the foreign languages club my junior year. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much.

      After graduation, I taught Spanish in the public schools for a year before I decided that wasn't my cup of tea. I certainly have a great respect for teachers now that I have walked in their shoes.

      Last year, I met a wonderful man, Rodney, who has two great kids of his own. Most people think we just have a net thing, but we actually do know each other in real life. I am pretty crazy about him but he will tell you I am just crazy. In my own defense I have to say that I have never been certified as crazy, so legally I am just as sane as everyone else.

      Some of my interests...

      I am interested in a lot of things. I truthfully believe that if I don't learn something new every day then I have wasted a day of my life. That is why I love computers, they change so much. I am interested in studying the Civil War, but I am more interested in the personal lives of those involved than the battles themselves. I am an amateur genealogist and love it. I have been known to spend days, weeks, and sometimes months, digging through dusty old documents. I don't consider myself an artist, but I do love to paint and draw but I do this mainly for my own enjoyment. I also like to hunt and fish. Camping is one of my favorite things to do because then I get to sleep under the stars and cook over an open fire. I love animals and have had every kind of animal you can imagine at my house, including four baby armadillos. I am the world's worst for adopting hurt or stray animals.       Thanks to my friend, Lee Hutsen (Slopoke), I got on the net for the first time in June '96. I have spend a great deal of time on the talkers, but have found a couple of places that I really enjoy...and I finally got a talker of my own called Enchanted Bayou.
