| One of the most traditional dinners (around here anyway)
is good ol' fashioned BBQ. But with all the different ways to cook meat,
we thought about trying something different. So to be unique, we introduce
you to Beer Chicken.It tastes
great and is guaranteed to raise some eyebrows in the ol' neighborhood.
With it are BBQ ribs, potato salad, some very good baked beans, and bread
pudding for dessert. Hope it makes you hungry enough to try it. |
This is a full plate with plenty helpings.

Now presenting the main course
Open beer; drink one fourth of it
or whatever you feel like. Add bay leaf, garlic, spices and other stuff
to beer. Rub chicken under skin and all over the top with spices and other
stuff. Place beer up chicken butt. Place on Bar-Be-Que. pit. Slow cook
for four or six hours or when its done. Take beer out of chicken. Carve
and pig out.

Baked beans
Add everything together in a deep baking dish. Cook in
oven on 300 for about one hour. Stir every once in a while so it doesn't
stick to pan. Take out of oven and let stand till thickens.
|
Potato Salad
Boil dice potato's and eggs in a pot. Drain in colander.
Peel eggs and cut into pieces. Cut onions and celery throw in pot. Add
everything else. Mix well. Cool it off or serve warm.
