There has been a lot of contention about Snakepit ... A source of constant irritating and apparently irrational behaviour. Is he completely crazy, and an asshole?

He's sure upset a lot of people ... Sometimes I think he makes a career out of it.

Well, I'll tell ya. At first, I got a hard time from him, too but I bullied my way past his abusive emails (this MAY have had something to do with the fact that he sent me this picture in my email and I crumbled into a heap of writhing hormones) ... I started to talk to the dude, and discovered that he actually is Quite Nice At Times.

He's ... yeh! a "real biker", he works hard and is proud of his life, his bikes , his lifestyle and himself ... and he's NOT a yuppie (he ASKED me to say that, nyuk nyuk) although I suspect he is as much a computer nerd as any of us out there ... heh heh.

But I dedicated this page to him because at a time in my life when I was at my most confused and upset, close to suicidal if my ego would have allowed, well, Snakepit - he talked to me, talked me out of my negative thoughts and feelings, and even took the time and trouble to call me on the phone from America to New Zealand and spent over half an hour to talk to me and tell me to stop being a stupid bitch ...(*sigh* its just the way he talks ALL the time)

There are a few other people around, who have done similar things, through ICQ and email, and to them I am also grateful for cheering me up, making me feel "part of the gang".

Many of you, I know, dislike Snakepit, because he's rude, and crude, bad and bold and ... yeh ... a loudmouth ... he's had unjustified digs at many people, but please appreciate him for this one small point: that he gave me strength and friendship when I needed it and I looked beneath the stroppy nature I found a man who's loyal, strong, kind, and positive towards his friends. And fuckin' sexy too.

Whenever I'm back in Texas, I'll be looking him up, cos he's a bad dude in the best possible way ...
