King Tutankhamon

King Tutankhamon or the boy pharaoh, reigned on the throne of ancient Egypt during the period 1361-1352 a.c.
His claim to throne rested on his marriage with Ankhesenpaaton, daughter of king Ikhnaton and queen Nefertiti.
King Tut is famous for the sensational discovery of his nearly intact tomb in 1922. The tomb contained thousands
of objects and has given the world a most detailed idea of the grandeur of the ancient Egyptian court.
Dying at the age of seventeen, and being the most famous Pharaoh around the world encouraged us to choose the
mask of the boy king (Tut) as the most appropriate for the Junior World Cup tournament logo. Addind the colors
of the Egyptian National flag to the headdress linked the past with the present to this logo
