Government has been permitted to take all the definition making power to
itself up until this time (today at 5:30). They were able to do this because
they could control all public channels of communication. They controlled the
use of certain words. (Is such-and-such drug use medicinal or recreational?
Well the word medicine is controlled by the government, which licenses the
physicians, so if the government doesn't like such-and-such, the drug use is
recreational, and may indeed be criminal, for crime is a government controlled
word also.) Today we are able to make public contact directly with one
another, in alt.drugs.chemistry for instance, without appreciable government
control or censorship. This enables us to deny government the monopoly of
definition making.

The good news is that government is not very smart. The drug prohibition laws
were enacted in complete ignorance of the very important consideration that
psychoactive drugs are primarily a religious ritual. People doing drugs today
do not have to be aware that these matters are sacred, to get the
understanding that they are doing right, that this is very special to their
lives. Back in the days when we were hippies we thought trips were something
very new. We have come to learn trips are something very, very old, and
something which has been sacred down through time, since before history began.
With this has come the enlightenment that this religion is stronger than this
government, and will last far longer. People will continue to worship with
mind-altering drugs after the most fascist dictatorial government is dead and
buried.

We discover that the government has incorrectly defined psychotropic drug use,
in restricting the categories to either medicinal or recreational, the latter
a euphemism for criminal. They have neglected the important category of
religious drug use, which has been the predominant category all throughout
history. Since the public at large can now communicate instantly worldwide, we
are empowered to rectify this matter of improper definition, and marshall to
ourselves the defining power which is our rightful heritage as heirs and
representatives of the world's most ancient and most energetic religion.

Our first task is to define government out of existence. This is entirely a
matter of self preservation, since it is clear that government would define
all members of our religion as criminals, even though it is the first and
fundamental religion of humanity. With direct contact now available to us,
government is superfluous and obsolete, so we the people may dispense with it
as a safety hazard.
