Voodoo Nation

Resurgent Polytheism in Haïti, January 1, 1801,
and the United States stonewall response.
The United States was largely founded by an elite.
It was possible for a plebian to achieve election
into the august company and hence rise above his
station, but this privilege was a bestowed honor.

The United States was a political institution largely
devoted to serving the interests of the privileged
class. At first it was particularly devoted to racial
interests, a device allowing white Christians to suppress the native
populace under color of law,
which was believed to be the common interest by those
people at that time whose writings we have been permitted to see.

The United States at twenty one (21) years old did not
recognize the revolution of Haïti. Former slaves in
Haïti freed themselves by overthrowing the government
of their masters. The rulers of the United States at
this time did not really believe in democracy, as
meaning self rule by real people of real colors and
real languages. They formed the state institution to
defend the self interest of their clique. This State
was rascist from its inception. It was formulated
toserve as a formal tool to facilitate the seizure of
Native lands. It did not respond to the assertion of
African people, that as the de facto rulers of the
island of Haïti, they has as much right to form an
independent republic as the United States.

At this point the United States congealed into an
inherently rascist institution; the common principles
of taking Native lands and keeping Black slaves from
forming independent governments merged into the White
People principle, not letting people of color come into
power. That was the fin de siecle evolution of the
United States. When the nineteenth century began, the
United States was defined as the monotheist gentlemen
of wealth, implicitly land holders, not Canadians and
not Floridans, who spoke English in North America, but
only representing Caucasians.
Exceptions were deprecated.

These men did not recognize the Republic of Haïti for
it was contrary to their class interests. The United
States was allied with France through the period of the
Revolution and beyond. Napoleon was a catalyst sparking
revolutions in Europe, but felt obliged to protect French
planter interests in Haïti. The early Haïtian governments
failed to achieve stability, because of a flickering
oscillation through differing degrees of Black rascism.
Religious issues invisibly struggled within the
Blackpeople of Haïti, with the resurgent African polytheism
evenly matched against monotheism.

Haïti is uniquely the only state in the Western hemisphere
which must tolerate polytheism as a structural elementof its
government. Monotheists have constantly attempted
to put down Haïtian native polytheism without success.
The monotheist attitude toward polytheism is genocidal,
so it is remarkable that Haïtian polytheism has thrived
the past two centuries. Haïtians don't understand why
other nations can't see what they offer the world, the
spectacle of monotheists and polytheists living together.
No one else in the world has ever noticed. There are
supposedly lands in the Orient which practice religious
toleration, but Haïti is alone in the Americas as the only
non-monotheist state.

The United States administrators themselves probably
believed that it was for reasons of race they would not
set the precedent of recognizing the Haïtian government.
They would have been amazed to recognize the fact that
polytheism was an issue. The monotheist censor circuits
blind monotheists to the presence of polytheism where it
cannot be eradicated, circuitry developed in Europe and
west Asia. The Americans who started and ran the United
States paid lip service to religious toleration, but
could only do so by refusing to recognize the existence
of polytheism. Whenever monotheists are forced to see
polytheists, it triggers the automatic mechanism of
genocide.

The concept of progress which developed in the 19th
century was largely attributable to the celebration of
monotheism triumphant, the feeling that monotheism was
in power throughout the world. Establishment of nominal
client states in regions with polytheistic populations
was enough to generate the presumption that the region
was under monotheist control, which defined colonialism.
All polytheist lands were eligible, for monotheists felt
they were supposed to own all territories owned by polytheists.

It is divine mandate which explains
the Native American displacements in the United States and European
colonialism in the same phrase. Divine mandate to rule is the religious
belief which originally engendered racism. It means monotheists can kill or
enslave polytheists to take their real and movable properties.

Modern racism is not an inherent response of human behavior. It is a learned
response, which evolved from historical circumstance, and it is a fundamental
trait of the monotheist complex of religions. It is not a trait of
polytheism, which is inherently pluralist.

Racists are monotheists.
Polytheists are not racists.
This difference is built into the respective religions.

So the United States refused to recognize the Haïtian
Declaration of Independence, January 1, 1801, ostensibly
due to French alliance, though the United States rulers
privately felt it was because of race, and they were
forbidden to know that their real reasons were religious.
