I see you took a lot of time pondering the issues here.
Since you didn't see the relevance to this NG, you ought to
consider a deeper aspect, that this resolution is a direct
frontal assault on law and money, and as such many of the
readers and contributors here will find personal interest
in that aspect, and sympathetic to its cause.
 

You caught glimpses into its actual working when you allowed
yourself to imagine "what if everybody..." got into the act.
That's the machinery of this, it becomes retroactive, so
afterward everybody will remember having believed in it all
along. You saw differences in national reactions, but this is
a social movement which will build to a threshold, and simply
swamp the power of nations to control the expectations of their
own people. The bosses won't decide, we will.
