Benny Goodman
Benny Goodman, the "King of Swing" rose to fame in the years of the depression. In 1925, he joined Ben Pollack's Big Band. He later formed his own in 1934. His big band included Lionel Hampton, Gene Krupa, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie. He recorded many songs that are now considered jazz classics. Some include:
