Mansion History

The Mansion was built in the year 1586 A.D. for one, Alejandro Calabrillo, his wife Isabella, and their four children. The mansion underwent its first remodel in 1753 while occupied by Sebastian Calabrillo, his wife Grecia, and their six children. The final remodel was in 1848, when it was converted into a "bed and breakfast" of sorts. It sits on Loma Costa (Coast Hill) and the property consists of over 100 acres of land. Lake Eden is located inside the North border. The South border is the main entry. The East border is an open field, and Caballero Forest sits just inside of the West border. Many of the neighboring properties' owners believe Mansion Calabrillo is haunted and will not come near the property. The forest and lake are isolated and only the guests of the mansion ever visit them.
