Appearance:
An olive-skinned woman, 5'5" 130lbs. Black eyes, long black hair. She wears a dress covered by a hooded shawl, though she is fond of wearing bolero pants and a poet's shirt, with a vest over it.
Personality:
Sarcastic, at times. Pessimistic and often bitter. Since she received the dark gift, very aware of her surroundings. A lonesome being who went on her own after recieving the dark embrace, her creator searches for her, but she will never let him find her. She is very humane and at the same time a vicious killer. She hunts for the feed as opposed to the kill, though she does kill indiscriminately.
Abilities/Magic:
Practiced Spritualism (a lower form of Santeria) during her mortal life. She is an expert at casting spells and performing rituals to bring harm or heal to someone. When she recieved the dark gift, she ceased practicing the religion. She is as strong as 10 men, but uses her powers only when absolutely forced to.
History:
She was born in Spain, and immigrated to the United States when she was four. Her parents died en route, and she went to an orphanage in New England. A year later, she was adopted by a rich family in New Orleans, and recieved the best of everything. Her parents are still alive, and live 20 miles from the plantation. A practicing midwife, she had two small children and a husband, whom she was in love with. But her life was that of depression and sadness. Memories of her parents flooded her thoughts constantly. She found a friend in Rune, whom she knew was somehow "different". She befriended him after his wife and child died at childbirth, under odd circumstances. One night, unwillingly, she became "one of them" "Nosferatu" "the undead...", and was baptized Tristis Mortuus, Latin for "Sorrowful Death". Her family believed her dead and had her body placed in the family crypt. Often, she will hide among the brush along her plantation, and visit her children and her husband, who has since remarried. She provides for them under the assumption that the money the family receives is from a rich relative in the Old Country. Rune told her with the gift she would feel no pain. It wasn't true, she still misses her family, especially her children. She stands alone, needs and wants no one.

Update

Wincent has found his biological father and aunt. They have destroyed the fleet of Goblins and Hobgoblins that attacked Blizzard Peaks. Tristis is nostalgic, now that she has helped Vincent find his family, she yearns to visit her own children and husband.

Kind hearted, tough on the outside. Knows the art of manipulation well. Has learned to attain anything she wants. Is now in over her head and is terrified.
Abilities/Magic:
Has telekinetic abilities. Moves tangible objects with her mind when she is angry or upset.
History:
Ran away at the age of 12 from a sexually abusive home. Never went back. Became a prostitute at the age of 13. Last trick she turned happened to pay her upwards of $5,000 which she didn't give to her pimp. He told the MAFIA that she stole their money and now they are after her. She had been tortured for a week now, and she finally escaped, taking a stack of money and hiding it in various parts of her body under her clothing. She has come to the Cafe seeking Sanctuary

Update

John has returned and Calliope confessed to lying to her about John. They have all returned to the Cafe to help Sam the Monk, where he removed Angel's demon mark. Betina has confessed her desire to bear children to the Monk.
