crowning of Best Actor in the Cannes Festival, this is a
reasonably comprehensive double-CD compilation album of Tony
Leung (or Liang Chao Wei). There are a total of
thirty-four old tracks, with over half of them (twenty to be

A NIU (WE ARE PEOPLE IN OUR

A Niu (or Chen Qing Xiang or Tan Kheng Seong)
has come out with a Hokkien dialect album which is slated for
release only in Malaysia and Singapore, and not in Taiwan.
To be fair, this is not his solo offering but rather, a duo
album with another Malaysian guy by the name of A Hui (or Zhang
Wen Hui or Teoh Boon Hooi). Each of them has four solo
tracks plus two duet tracks together. All the songs here
are written by these two guys.
The first single from this release is a
solo song by A Niu called "Abu-Ne-Ne" which is
composed and co-written by A Niu. I'm not too sure what
the Indian title means although according to a friend of mine,
it's something not very pleasant. I remembered that when I
first heard this song over the Malaysian radio waves, I just
laughed and laughed and laughed.

This is Karen Mok's (or Mo Wen Wei) very first
new song
cum collection release.
There are two brand new tracks (both being
Japanese compositions) : the fast retro-feel song "Come On
Come On" and the ballad "Summer Fruit".
This is a two-CD collection which has a
total of eighteen compilation tracks. CD One contains all
the upbeat songs of Karen's such as "Love Yourself",
"I Say", "No Time" (or Mei Shi Jian) and
"Extinguish" (or Xiao Mie). On the other hand,
CD Two has all the mid-tempo/slow ballads such as
"Love" (or Ai Qing), "Overcast" (or Yin Tian),
"He Doesn't Love Me " (or Da Bu Ai Wo) and a personal
all-time favourite of mine "Ten Minutes Before
Midnight" (or Yu Ye Qian De Shi Fen Zhong). Refer

The only major complaint I have is that
they have left out what is undoubtedly one of the hottest duets
of the nineties "Guang Dao Zhi Lian" sung together
with Zhang Hong Liang .... what a pity.
