LAZY FRUIT PIE

Batter
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
.....OR.....
1 cup plain(all-purpose) flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk

Melt 1 stick butter or margarine in a 9x13 baking dish. Mix batter and pour over
melted butter. Add a large can of fruit, undrained, by spoonfuls over batter.
Bake at 350-degrees F. until browned.

(When I was growing up in Mississippi, we always had this
with home canned peaches or pears, but it's good with almost
any kind of fruit).
