1 pound lean ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup each of the following, more or less to taste:
sliced ripe olives
chopped green or Vidalia onions
chopped tomato
1/2 to 1 cup sour cream
Brown beef with taco seasoning as directed on package.
While that simmers, heat beans and spread in a 10-inch
pie plate. Spread meat over beans. Layer cheese, olives,
onions and tomato over meat. "Frost" with sour cream.
Serve with corn chips, tortilla chips, and or flour tortillas.
Notes:
1. Tabasco may be added to the beans while heating.
2. Combine 1/2 cup cheddar with 1/2 cup Jack cheese.
3. Add a layer of salsa over the beans.
