....It was only shortly after our rag-tag group of Vampires assembled for the first time that news of the building threat of the Baali reached us. The Prince asked for volenteers to retreave a pearl, a artifact, to be used against the demons. Sir Radu, Sir Normand, Sir Rhoric, and a mad man named Sudian all ventured to find this artifact. Durring their time absent, the Baali made several assults on the Kindred who stayed behind, resulting in several injuries. When the part finally returned with their prize, the Baali launched a assult. Although we won the day, Sir Radu was slain, among others...
....Durring our euology for Sir Radu, a old man came into the Hall and started to beg for food. He was offered both food and a few gold coins.. It was after this when he began spouting his prophetic rantings.. We have yet to learn what this means.
....Recently we enountered a man in the great hall of Price Mitru's castle. He propsed a wager. After drawing a sword, he proposed a contest. The victor would have the service of the looser(s) for one night. Believing this to be a duel, we chose our best fighter, Sir Rhoric. We where tricked. The contest was announced to be a spelling bee. Sir Rhoric tried valliently, though in the end he failed to match the knowledge of this stranger. We where then informed that this stranger demanded "the long night" for his service, defining this as forever. Several people argued that the sun came, despite the fact that we where no awake to see it. All refused this lifetime of servitude. It was then that the dragon attacked.. All efforts to fight him off went for naught, before the stranger, seemingly on sheer power of will, forced the dragon into flight for fear. The man then announed his extream displeasure at our unwillingness to serve him, and departed.. We have yet to see him again..
....The Prince has recently gathered us to discuss this dragon problem. He has offered a kings ransom to whomever can bring him the fang of this beast.. Currently a party to seek out a strange man who may know of a way to distory the foul creature is in the works..
