I started to play the Sax 12 years ago. One week after I had bought my first Saxophone, I heard my first Sanborn CD "Straight To The Heart" and realized the high notes David played. At this time I didn't know about this high notes. I didn't know about the way to play this notes. And so: (and that is "real") I went to the Music - Store and said "Something is wrong with my Sax. I heard a guy playing so high notes and I can't play this notes on my Sax."

Hier noch mal in Deutsch:
Zwei Wochen nach dem ich mir mein erstes Saxophon kaufte hörte ich die erste C.D von David. Ich bemerkte die High- notes die David spielte und versuchte sie auch zu spielen. . (Nach 2 Wochen *grins*) Das ging natürlich nicht. Ich wußte aber nichts über die Technik die man braucht um diese Töne zu spielen.
Und so ging wieder zum musikgeschäft und wollte mein Saxophon umtauschen weil ich wirklich dachte das David ein anders Saxophon haben mußte und das die Töne auf meinem nicht drauf sind. Woher sollte ich das dennn auch wissen. Ich hatte noch keinen Lehrer u.s.w. Heute nach 12 Jahren gehören diese Töne zu meinen Lieblingstönen und ich spiele sie so selbstverständlich wie jeden anderen auch. Wie man auch auf meiner Homepage hören kann.
