Michael
Bailey Smith
Michael Bailey Smith nasceu em Alpena, Michigan. Ele e seus
irmãos cresceram mudando-se constantemente pelo mundo. Passou a
maior parte de sua juventude em Teraã no Irã, e lá estudou na "Tehran
American School". Michael era alvo de gozações devido à sua
escolha como ator, e por isso começou a praticar esportes, como
fotebol americano, basebol e basquete.
Depois de formado no colegial, começou a trabalhar na construção
de radares para a Força Aérea Iraniana, mas não era o suficiente
para pagar a Faculdade. Depois de nove meses, decidiu se juntar
ao exército, onde se juntou a uma das mais respeitáveis unidades
do mundo, e passou três anos lá.
Ele foi para a Eastern Michigan University depois que deixou o
exército e conseguiu um lugar no time de futebol americano com
facilidade. Agora sua meta era se tornar jogador profissional,
mas o sonho não durou muito tempo quando ele sofreu uma grave
contusão no joelho.
Ele decidiu se mudar para São Diego para poder ficar mais
próximo a indústria filmográfica, a qual esperava um dia poder
fazer parte. Começou a trabalhar para uma companhia de
informática, mas não agüentou muito tempo e se demitiu. Resolveu
continuar com o fisiculturismo o qual tinha ingressado desde que
começou a praticar fotebol americano.
Seu interesse em fisiculturismo é que o levou ao trabalho como
ator. Ajudou seu parceiro de treinamento a se preparar para o
teste da quinta seqüência do filme "A hora do pesadelo", e
depois do teste, visto que seu amigo não passara, se aproximou
do diretor que o ofereceu a oportunidade de fazer o teste que
seu amigo tinha feito. Ele então aceitou e conseguiu o papel.
Iniciando sua carreira como ator.
Michael é formado em Ciências da Computação e seu aniversário é
dia 2 de novembro.
