Objetos que pertenceram à Elvis são vendidos por pequenas fortunas
No último dia 17 de Março três objetos que pertenceram à Elvis Presley foram vendidos pela casa de leilões californiana Butterfields, arrecandando um total de $ 52.875 dólares. Ambos foram:
:-: Um violão da marca Gibson (fabricada especialmente para Elvis) foi vendida por $ 29.375 dólares, segundo informado.
:-: Um quimono de algodão e cetim vermelho, usado pelos próprio para seus treinos de Karatê, foi vendido por $ 17.625 dólares.
:-: Por último foi vendido uma bíblia assinada por ele, que foi arrematada por $ 5.875 dólares.

Historic Iate Presidencial Foi Fechado Aos Visitantes
O USS Potomac, um iate presidencial restaurado, foi fechado ao público devido a um sério problema financeiro dos proprietários.
O iate pertenceu à Franklin Roosevelt e posteriormente foi vendido para Elvis, que por sua vez o doou ao Hospital de Sant Judes, em 1964.
Devidos aos custos do seguro, a baixa na média de visitantes, menos do esperado, fez com que a associação fechasse o navio até que um novo plano seja elaborado. Espera-se que ele esteja aberto já no verão americano.
