Confessions Chapter 11 ~*~Christmas Eve~*~ ~*~~*~ It was Christmas Eve and onlyand I were in the house well apart fromwho was snuggled up asleep in her cot upstairs.andwere at his house. I was led on the sofa staring into the roaring fire that I had lit earlier in our old fashioned fireplacehad just came into the lounge with two steaming mugs of hot chocolate with marsh mellows and cream grated chocolate was sprinkled over the cream. “Here ya babe” she said handing me a cup. “thanks” I said taking it and setting it down on the table beside the sofaset hers down and laid down with me she has her attention on the TV where the famous Christmas cartoon The Snowman was playing it was on TV earlier andhad recorded it because she was too busy to watch it and she did love that Cartoon well its only shown once a year. The fire was crackling the heat from it was lovely.had fallen asleep I carefully got up lifting her gently I took her upstairs and set her down carefully she stirred and awoken “” she said rubbing her eyes “Yes babe?” I answered her “What time is it?” she asked “Mid night” I replied “Better go back to sleep then after I’ve got changed don’t want to get no presents because I was a bad girl and stayed up to late”replied making me laugh “Yeah and you don’t want to miss out on the present I’ve got you” I said to her “What, what you got me” she asked like a little kid “You’ll have to wait and see” I replied she pouted as she changed and got into bed “I’ll go to sleep now Christmas will come quicker” she said and closed her eyes I kissed her forehead she smiled quickly before I could hear the faint sound of her breathing. ~*~Christmas Day~*~ I woke up early and looked beside mehad already gone I saw her walking across the landing in her arms she was rocking her gently and singing to her I smiled aswalked into our room. “Morning baby” I said “Hey” she replied looking at me I held out my armssat down and led down still in’s arms looking up at me and her mother she was smiling and gurgling to herself “can you take her while I go put the turkey in the oven so dinner will be ready for two cos everyone’s coming at half one”asked “Sure babe can’t wait for dinner” I replied taking her from “Thanks”said and left the room to go down stairs I talked to “I’m gonna make your mummy the happiest women in the world later and she’ll do the same to me hope she accepts I love her and you very much and this would be excellent you’d look so cute in a little bridesmaid dress and your mummy would look so gorgeous in her wedding dress though she looks gorgeous in anything” I was telling her… Everybody was roundwith her man Kian.withandwithand of courseandwere here also we were sat round the dining table after finishing our meal that by the way was lovely’s a great cook I raised my wine glass And said “I have a confession to make” I said looking at everyone in the room they all just looked at me wondering what I had to say “Now I know we’ve already exchanged all of our gifts but there is one more” I said getting out a small blue velvet box “?” I said getting up and getting down on one knee “We’ve been through so much in the past two years and we are still going stronger then ever and it’s even better now we have our beautiful baby girlso please will you marry me?” I said and I opened the box she gasped not knowing what to say well at least that’s what I hoped “I don’t know what to say” she said her eyes were filled with tears “YesI will marry you” she replied I got up slipping the ring on her finger as I kissed her passionately clapping and cheering was being heard from everyone we broke away “Congratulations you two deserve each other”said as we all raised our glasses and toasted.
