Confessions Chapter 19 I got up at about 4 in the morning unable to sleep I went into ’s room and looked around I picked up her small soft pink rabbit that she couldn’t sleep without it I held it close to me as tears slipped down my cheeks I put it back into the cot and went downstairs I saw a note on the mat by the front door I picked it up and read it ‘Listen to this command andwon’t get hurt leave £10,000 on the 2nd bench by the park entrance tomorrow at 12.00 or else’ I started shaking as I ran up the stairs and wokeup “What’s the matter?” he asked as his eyes shot open I gave him the note “Guess I’ll be going to the bank tomorrow morning”said sighing “Maybe we can hide in the park somewhere and see who it is” I said “I swear when I find out who this person is they are going to wish they had never come near here”said angrily “It wouldn’t be a jealous fan or anything would it?” I asked “I have this strange feeling that it could bebut I could be wrong”answered “Why her?” I asked “Well she did that whole thing to break us up but failed and maybe she’s thought by taking our daughter would be a good way to get revenge”replied “She wouldn’t hurt her though would she?” I asked frightened “I’m not sure”answered me I fell into his arms crying again the thought of someone hurtingwas unbearable. “I’ve got It”said coming back home with a bag full of the money “It’s almost 12 should we get going?” I asked him “Come on then” he said taking my hand he squeezed it gently now and again to reassure me that everything was going to be alright though I not sure he knew that himself we left the money on the bench and walked off and hide behind some bushes near by soon enough someone dressed all in black with sunglasses on came and picked up the bag they hadin there arms and I went to run out to get her butstopped me “It’s not the best way to get her trust me”said as he hung on to me “I know but I want her to be in my arms again” I said crying as I saw the person climb into a car and it being driven off… To Be Continued...
