Confessions Chapter 25 We had been in the delivery room for about 20 minutes I wasn’t quite ready to give birth yet until I felt the urge to push I gripped’s hand and he knew he had to get the doctor who had just walked out of the room for a few minutes “Babe I’ve got to go find the doctor” he said I nodded and let go and he left the room I tried to hold on but I knew I couldn’t any longer I had to push I heard the babies cries as the door opened and the doctor, some nurses and walked in the doctor walked over to the baby “You’ve got a baby girl” he said as the nurse took her away not wasting any time as I felt the urge to push again I gripped’s hand and squeezed it tightly as I pushed with all my might I breathed for a few seconds before the urge to push again took over and the cries of a baby were heard again “Another baby girl” the doctor said as another nurse took the baby away to be checked over I breathed for a few seconds not thinking I could do it a third time “You’re doing great babe”said kissing my forehead I smiled briefly before having to push again “One more” the doctor said and I pushed with the last of my energy I had left but I didn’t hear a baby cry “What’s wrong” I asked sensing something was up as the nurse whisked the baby away “She’s just having trouble breathing she’ll be fine” the doctor said “Would you like to see your other two daughters” he asked and I nodded as the nurses came over and placed one in my arms and one in’s “I can’t believe I missed this the first time round”said looking down at his daughters “I’m so proud of you” he said gently kissing my fore head “We need to take them down to ICU it’s just a standard thing when triplets are born” the nurse said and they took our daughters as the nurse who had taken the third one came in “Your daughter’s fine now but I need to check Mrs.over” she said to Lee “I’ll be back later” he said kissing my cheek and leaving the room “Any idea of names” she asked as she checked me over “No not yet I guess I’ll have to discuss that withwhen he’s allowed back in” I said “Your daughters are very beautiful by-the-way” the nurse said “Thank you” I replied with a smile as she left… A few days later I was allowed home with my girls whoand I had decided to call Hope, Faith and Grace. Faith was the name of the youngest the one we nearly lost it suited her perfectly “Well we didn’t get a honeymoon”said cradling Grace in his arms “No we got better then that we got three daughters” I replied picking up Hope who had started to cry “And now I live with five beautiful girls” he said as we both looked down at who was cooing over Faith who was lying in her mosses basket… A week later I was sat on the sofa withreading through OK magazine they had featured our wedding and at the very end was a picture of me,and our girls and caption underneath saying anything can happen on a wedding day “I’m so glad you gave me another chance babe”said kissing me “This is the end of our confessions…” The End
