_...I’m not the little girl I was dad that you could yell at back then and I’d run to my room to cry. 
I know what I did was really stupid but it’s time for you letting me take my problems, my 
responsibilities, my mistakes, and only with my mistakes I’ll learn something and make’s life 
better each day! No, I’m not going back with you I’m gonna stay and take care of my life, of my 
daughter. I don’t wanna stop talking to you or mom or the boys because you’re my family, but now 
I have my own family…or part of it and I have to do this by myself…if you can’t believe that 
your princess now is a grown up woman then I’m really sorry dad! I’m not gonna say to you the same 
thing you told me when I left home, because it was my mistake only mine but if it’s too hard for 
you to stay next to me or my family I’m sorry again dad but I can forget I have a dad in my life…
but I won’t forget I have a mother and brothers. Now it’s you choice.

_Enough! If you wanna go, so let’s go right now; go pack your things once for all. I’ll let 
you know since now that I won’t pretend I don’t have a granddaughter and a daughter just 
because you’re stubborn and can’t accept now she has her own family. I’m only going with you 
now ‘cause I think it’s time for this couple to be alone with their daughter who just arrived 
home!

Thes packed their stuff and one hour after the fight they left the house, finally leaving 
andalone with.
_I couldn’t notice before how beautiful she is. –said playing with the baby’s hand.

_I love you! At the day in Mexico after we slept together and I woke up and saw you sleeping by 
my side I freaked. ‘Cause I’d realized I was enjoying your company more than I should and 
that scared me ‘cause I never liked anyone the way I was back then, so I decided to look for the 
girl I met in the night club and went out with her several times just because you said our night 
didn’t mean a thing for you and I freaked even more because I was dying to hear you saying you 
loved our night as much as I did, I didn’t want to listen to what you said. I wanted to say all 
that to you and that I was stupid having a snog with that girl and that I love you and hear you 
saying you love me too…but when those words didn’t come out from your mouth I decided to find other 
girls to love me…but none of them was, theI married, the girl I fall in 
love with and the mother of my child.
_I only said Julia wasn’t your daughter ‘cause I knew our wedding was ending and I didn’t 
want her to grow up in a home that her dad sleeps with a different lady every night, I 
wanted her to have close parents that love each other and when I saw that this it wouldn’t 
happen for us I rather her only having a mom and not knowing about the big lie our 
marriage was.
_And why did you decide to tell me?
_It wasn’t fair with her or you. One day she would ask about her father and she would need you 
and I can’t take that away from her.
_, I truly love you and I wanna make this marriage a real one! I want our 
baby to grow up in a happy home with a mom and a dad and maybe…who knows, a bother to 
love her.

_, today you’re gonna see the house where mummy grew up and your grandfather. –said 
stopping in front of the door of her old farm.
_Are you sure you wanna do this now?
_I’m not going back home before talking with my dad; I had enough of him not talking 
to us.
The girl knocked on the door and her brotheropened it.
_Hi, Hi…lil…- The Boy said taking the girl in his arms.
_can you tell us if dad is home?
_I’m here, what are you doing here?
_I spent the week here and as I’m going home tomorrow I decided to introduce her grandfather 
to.
_How are you? –said being gentle.
_Great…, let me hold. – He said taking the girl.
At firstwas a bit nervous for letting his daughter with ‘cause he didn’t have a 
good expression on his face, but soon he changed when the lil girl started to cry threw 
herself at’s arms.
_Hey darling calm down!!! – He said holding the girl. _He’s your grandfather you don’t need to 
be scared…dad is here to protect you sweetie. – He said kissing the baby and she stopped 
crying. – Look at him sweetie…sorry, she’s like this when she doesn’t know the person who’s 
holding her! – He said still caressing the baby.
_Fine! I know your kid and now leave my house.
_I’m going to college dad, I’m studying administration…
_When did you started? –said sitting on the sofa with his daughter.
_This year.
_And who stays with the baby?  ‘Cause we know your husband is a very busy man who travels all 
the time.
_Whenandcan’t go with me the baby stays with her nanny! –
said sitting next 
to them with the baby.
_Do you trust this nanny? She treatsthe way she needs to be treated?  –said sitting 
with his brothers on the other sofa.
_She better treat her good orand I will kick her ass.
_Yeah! – He said giving his brother a high 5.
Everybody started to laugh;putonlap and she didn’t cry, only played with 
the buttons of his shirt.
_She looks just like you when you were this age.

_You now have your own familyand you are very happy together, I can’t keep mad babe…
you chose what was best for you 
and you didn’t regret.
They hugged and now she was happier than ever. She has a beautiful family supporting her, 
was building her own family withwho was a wonderful husband and father and was making her 
very happy and a health lovely daughter.
Since that day nothing or anyone would end with the happiness of the familiesand.
