and I got a taxi to the apartment we would be staying in the sun was beginning to set as we reached it
paid the driver as I went to open the door with the keys we’d been given’s mate Danny owned a few apartments
over her and let us stay in one of them which was nice of him to do it saved us some money
“Nice”said stepping through the door
“Yeah it is” I replied walking with my suitcase in my hand to where the bedrooms were at the back
“Which one?” I askedlooking back over my shoulder
“You choose which ever one you want I don’t mind” he replied I shrugged and opened the door on the right this
one will do I thought putting my suitcase down and walking back out
“Yours is the one on the left then opposite” I said toand he nodded
“Right cool” and went in his own room I looked up at the clock on the wall it was pretty late here
“you think there’s a store still open somewhere?” I asked him
“I think Danny said there’s a 24 hour one not far from here I’ll go get us some food shall I”said coming out
and looking in a draw in the kitchen and taking out some keys
“For the car he loaned us” he replied
“Cool your mates wicked” I said
“Yeah good thing we decided to come here”said
“I’ll be back soon could you do me a favour and unpack for me please?”asked before he left. I went in my
room to unpack my things into the drawers and wardrobe before going into’s room and unpacking his things for
him I shut the last drawer as I heard the front door go and
call out that he was back
“I’ll cook us something” he said as I walked into the kitchen
“Oh ok babe thanks” I replied with a smile as I sat on one of the kitchen stools
“You fancy clubbing tomorrow night?”asked as he was cooking
“Yeah would be fun” I said getting up and going to the fridge I found a bottle of wine in there with a note attached
to it
“I hope you realise something this holiday! Enjoy the wine – Danny” I read out as I put the wine on the
counter
“What is he up to”laughed serving up
“Beats me” I replied getting some glasses and pouring us both some wine
“To the start of a great holiday”said clinching his glass with mine
“Ditto to that” I replied before we drank and ate the food…
