People say everything in life happens for a reason but I didn’t agree that much ‘cause what I’m about to tell apparently happened for no 
reason at all.
andwere the kind of perfect couple. They met in a party, exchanged numbers, set a date and soon became an item, typical 
and boring. They almost didn’t argue ‘causewas very patient whenhad his jealousy problems. No one in the world was 
happier than them. Particularly this kind of people gets on my nerves ‘cause there’s nothing interesting about them butreally 
surprised me. From a pathetic spoiled girl she became a strong woman with a huge ability of solving her life.
andmoved in together last year. Their lives were great, they were always happy and everywhere they went people said that 
couple more in love than them didn’t exist. The year went by, plans were planned bla bla bla and Duncan asked Quinn to marry him. Of 
course she said “yes”, they were so loved up that eventually this would happen. Ok, now that I’ve strolled all I could I’m gonna tell what 
happened.
At the beginning of the year everything was going great until a particular day.andwoke up in the morning and were doing 
their usual routine when the phone rang.

_Can I speak with Ms.? – a woman said.

_I’m Ruth Mills, I’m a nurse at the Mercy Hospital. Do you have a brother named?

The woman at the reception pointed to a room andran to know news about her brother. The nurse tookto’s room

doctor and his tests said otherwise.

The doctor got moved bycrying and decided to do the tests as fast as he could. After some time, the results came andneeded 
some documents and call her family. She thought about calling home but she remembered she toldto go to work so, in the middle 
of that trouble, she decided to go home.
Now the stupidity begins…
parked the car and ran into her house. She went upstairs direct to her room and when she got in something wasn’t right…

endless self blame. If I were there with her for sure I’d tell her to wake up and stop with that bullshit. What was done was done, she couldn’t

Two weeks went by.didn’t go back home or called,was worried about her but he didn’t dare going to the hospital after her. 
He was losing his hopes of seeing her again when one rainy night the doorbell rang and he had a surprise.
Ok, I’m gonna cut the drama, you know it wasat the door! She was all wet and the curious thing was she was wearing one of’s

scent the smell of the chocolate and felt like waking up. She left the shower and after drying her body she looked herself in the mirror; 
she noticed she wasn’t the same girl who left home that morning to see her brother in the hospital. It seemed like another person had took 
over her body… she saw her image but she was no longer the same.
The girl looked around the room and saw the bed… that bed wasn’t hers anymore. She carried on looking around the room and saw one of 
’s shirts on the armchair… she took it and put it on her.
_? Are you ok? –asked getting in the room.

Finally the dumass got it!wasn’t forgiving him, she was saying goodbye! And what a goodbye, huh?
Well, this is it!proved she was not dumb after all and I also learned a lesson in life… everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens 
by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, loves, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity. All occur to test the 
limits of your soul. Without these small tests life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust, and the importance of 
being cautious to whom you open your heart too. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, 
but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things that you would have never seen or felt without them. 
Make everyday count. Appreciate every moment, and take it from everything you possibly can, ’cause you may never be able to experience it 
again.
Talk to people you have never talked before and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have the right to. Tell yourself you are a great 
individual and believe in yourself, ‘cause if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either. 
You can make your life anything you wish, create your own life and then go out there and live it.
