Iaido Sword Art

Iaido is the art to pull and cut the sword, in one, combat crucial movement. It goes back on the sword combat schools of the Japanese Samurai.
However, in the course of the centuries these exercises (jap. Kata) lost their martial purpose. Instead of weapon in the fight, the sword became a mirror-image-ritual instrument of control and training of the self.
