The film was in the box office for approximately four and a half to five months, Stateside and in Britain.

As of NOW, [August 24th], Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone/Sorcerer's Stone has made close to $1 BILLION throughout the world. Not bad for a $130 million investment!
