There have been three versions of the East of Scotland League. The
first was formed late in the 1893-94 season and lasted for just one campaign.
The second version was created when the ‘supplementary’ Edinburgh
League changed its name after it admitted Dundee and East Stirlingshire in
1898. The third is the present day league that was formed by the East of
Scotland FA in 1923. |
