Lamenting about my size, When I suddenly found will power And I started to exercise. I dreamed of the model's figure I'd have once the months had passed, If only I'd stick to the program And work ever hard till the last. So I went to aerobics classes, Worked out on machines when through, And I walked a million miles, Feeling worse than I ever knew. I wish I'd known from the onset To be balanced and work real slow, So with my last and final breath I share what I now know: Tis the end result that matters, And mine oozes with regret, For I never reached my desired goal... Before I exercised to death! |
