FLIP'S CHEATERS MARMALADE

1 lemon (near to ripe)
1 orange near to ripe
1 cup water
1/2-1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon citric acid, as required

Zest & juice fruit.
Dissolve sugar & water over a low heat.
Add zest & bring to the boil.
Simmer on a medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Use citric acid if fruit is ripe, as there will be insufficient pectin for the marmalade to set.
Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a sterilized jar.
