HOME FLIP | SEEDY DAMPER Some bush tucker for those stuck at home… Ingredients: 2 cups of white self-raising flour 1 cup of wholemeal self-raising flour 125 g soft butter/ ghee 2 teaspoons caraway seeds 2 tablespoons sunflower seed kernels 1 tablespoon sesame seeds ½ cup milk ¼ cup water (approx) Directions: Sift flours into a bowl. Rub in butter. Stir in seeds. Stir in milk and enough water to make a dough. Knead dough on floured bench until smooth. Gently push dough into a mound approx 15 cms round and place on a greased tray. Cut a cross about 1 cm deep in dough and brush with extra milk. Bake in moderately hot oven for about 30 mins or until damper is brown and sounds hollow when tapped. |
