HOME FLIP | SATAY SAUCE (ideal for rice, gado gado, as a dip...whatever) INGREDIENTS 1 red chili, finely chopped 1 knob of ginger, finely grated 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped 1 onion, finely diced 250 grams shelled peanuts, processed to a crumbly consistency. 1 1/2 cups stock 150 grams silken tofu, blended METHOD Put all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer gently for 10 minutes with the lid on - or until you get the required consistency. NOTE: Make sure you use a saucepan with high sides as this splatters while cooking. You can add 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes if you would like. EXTRA NOTE: Cuz says “This so rocks” |
