| HOME FLIP | FLIP'S TAMARI SEEDS Pepitas Sunflower Seeds Sesame Seeds Tamari Into a bowl, put your favourite seeds (or nuts or both). (I used equal portions of pepitas, sesame and sunflower seeds. Flaked almonds also look good in this mixture.) Douse in tamari (or soy or shoyu) and stir so all seeds are well covered. Stand for 20 minutes. ( the seeds that is, not you, unless of course, you're practicing yoga's standing pose.) Spread the seeds evenly on a baking tray and cook at 140 degrees (gas mark 1) for 20 minutes. Allow seeds to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. Eat by the handful when the munchies strike or on sprinkle salads or stirfries. | |||
