Breckin Meyer was raised in Los Angeles, but born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 7, 1974. He had started appearing on commercials at age 11 and continued throughout high school. He went to Beverly Hills High School, with several young actors, such as his friend Alicia Silverstone. After graduating high school he was accepted to California State University. He wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, but he would leave all that behind just to be an actor. He did voice-over work, such as in the movie American Tail and got guest spots on popular 80's shows like L.A. Law and The Wonder Years, just to name a few. He became a regular on the shows Home Court and The Jackie Thomas Show. Breckin also was a drummer in a band with his brother Frank called "The Streetwalkin Cheetas". After recording the second album he quit to make his own with best friend Seth Green. It was called "Bellyroom". Breckin was most recently seen in Rat Race, which came to theatres August 17, and is currently starring in a show, Inside Schwartz, which is on Thursdays, 8:30-9:00PM. So be like Breckin, who made all his dreams come true and is now a succesful actor in Hollywood. |
