Five Blade Inn slave Rules:
The following rules apply to ALL FBI slaves. Understanding
these rules will put all the slaves "on the same page". Though
a girl's previous training may be different, there will be no
arguments or exceptions. A kajira must be flexible and able
to abide by the expections of Inn that owns her.
1. Pay attention in the Inn! Don't make a FP ask twice for anything. If you are not present and attentive then you should not be in the Inn.
2. A slave may only be on ONE channel at a time. A slave cannot divide her attention and serve well. This goes for any guest slave visiting the Inn too. If there are no Freepersons present, gently remind the visiting slave of this rule.
3. Always acknowlege anything said to you by a Freeperson. "yes Master/Mistress" Let them know at once that they have been heard by you, before you act to comply with their wishes. Slaves do not "nod" to a FP! It is considered rude and disrepectful.
4. Out of courtesy, please do not greet sisters or brothers until AFTER they are given permission to enter, for they are likely to be punished if they acknowlege the greeting before being allowed to enter. It shows arrogance and disrespect for a slave to assume a Free Person will choose to allow the slave to enter and leave. So save greetings and goodbyes until permission is granted by a FP in the Inn.
5. Never ping a Master or Mistress without their permission as this is considered touching them. And never touch a Freeperson without their permission.
6. Do not use roleplaying forms of speech "thee, thine, hath, shalt, thou, etc." We are not in the middle ages or Quakers. Always use "this girl, a girl, this one, this slave, etc..." do not use firstperson speech..."I, me, my,...etc" (there is an exception to this when a Master has allowed His girl to refer to Him as "my Master")
7. Ask permission to go away from keyboard (AFK) and then change your nick to "nick-AFK".NEVER TAKE YOUR COLLAR OFF even to go AFK. (*hint* if your nick is too long to show the -AFK at the end. Shorten the nick...NEVER the collar...but make sure the AFK shows!)
8. Slaves never touch money or weapons. To touch either may cause your death. If a Master wishes to give you a coin...extend your tongue so they may put it on your tongue or in your silks and carry it to the Inn Master/Mistress.
9. Always greet Freepersons in the Inn first, before greeting your sisters and brothers. And bid them farewell before their slaves. If you are doing a serve, never greet in any way until you are released. All Your attention must be upon the One you serve and none other, not even a smile to anyone else until released. Do not tell a FP to "be well" as slaves do not tell FP what to do or be...you *can* say...'safe journies" or " a girl wishes You well, Master"
10. Always do a /whois if you are unsure who is a Mistress or a Master when they enter. If still unclear, use Master and apologize profusely if it is a Mistress.
11. Bells are earned, you do not automatically have them. Slaves own nothing but what is given to them, and all a slave wears or has is owned by the slave's Master/Mistress. Some unowned slaves may have bells earned and retained from a past ko-laring. No new slave to Gor has bells or silks.
12. When an Inn Master is not present, you must obey the 1st girl in matters concerning the Inn.
13. Although you may see other slaves serving and behaving differently,
do not correct them. This is for the Inn Masters to do, or perhaps is a
requirement of their Owner, and not all are well versed in the ways of Gor,
or perhaps have their own interpretations. Only if a sister requests help
should you offer any advice. If a slave tries to correct you, you may refer
them to an Inn Master or First Girl, or just say "thanks" and
ignore them. It is best not to argue with another sister/brother, as their
training may be different and possilby lacking.

In any case, this Inn has it's own ways most generally accepted on Gor.
Training here will prepare you for traveling with pride in general. There
are some channels who have very different ways than most and their slaves
are taught different ways that leave them without knowledge or tolerance
of mainstream Gor. While in other channels that have different customs,
try to observe them. A few channels are different due to their location
on Gor. For example, Turia or Torvaldland.
14. Make sure you have registered your nick on Austnet AND Dalnet
15. Inn slaves are naked, bearing only the silver collar of the Inn. After a slave shows good service and understanding of the rules of the Inn, the slave will be presented with an anklet of silver bells.
16. NEVER EVER remove your collar even for a moment without permission from an Inn Master. Being without your collar will make you a runaway slave. It can mean posting (whipping) or worse. Never change your full name field without permission of an Inn Master.
17. It is required and expected of all Inn slaves that service be offered to all entering Freepersons as soon as the greetings are done. (See Rule #24). Service should be in order of arrival to the Inn. The First Girl is always the last to offer to serve because she is so often behind scenes helping and instructing and tending to her duties.
18. You may whisper or speak to other slaves in the Inn, as long as
you don't discuss Urthly things before guests. In other words remaining
on Gor at all times. If the Inn is slow and the Inn Masters are speaking
of Urthly things, then perhaps you will allowed to join in. You may NOT
join freely into conversations between Freepersons. `
(To be required to remain silent completely unless granted permission, even
to your sisters is something between a Master and a slave and not generally
the way on Gor.) Some slaves are required to never speak without permission,
but that is not the way here. You will ALWAYS speak with respect to Freepersons
and your sisters and brothers when speaking openly in the Inn.
19. If a Freeperson (other than an Inn Master) wishes to whisper in private with you, they must get the permission of an Inn Master/Mistress first. The very act of asking permission usually shows they are honorable and worthy. If they message you without asking permission...you each are to say something in open channel like: "Forgive this one Master Whisperer..a girl is not allowed to whisper without permission from an Inn Master or Mistress."
20. If you are in training, you may not lap or be used without gaining permission from an Inn Master. You kneel in nadu for Masters AND Mistresses, unless instructed otherwise by a FreePerson.
21. Unless instructed otherwise, you will address all Freemen as "Master" and Freewomen as "Mistress" Whether or not a FreePerson chooses to behave as a Mistress or Master on Gor is not your concern. As a slave, they are a Master or a Mistress to you. If a FP asks to be called other than Master or Mistress (for example: in Torvaldsland, Masters are called "Jarl") you must obey their wishes.
22. You will ask permission to leave, enter, go and return from AFK. The most formal way to ask to enter a channel is to kneel, with forehead pressed to the ground, arms outstretched with palms down and fingers splayed. This is the prostrate position in the formal Gorean positions. When entering the Inn or when traveling please use the formal prostrate position, as you will be representing the Inn and demonstrating the quality of kajirae at this Inn to all who see you.
23. When being addressed by any Master or Mistress, (or 1st girl while in training) you will respond immediately with "yes, Master" "yes, Mistress" or "yes, sister" *before* doing anything else. It is very important that instructions or words be acknowledged at once.
24. When offering service, do NOT approach the Master or Mistress UNLESS you have been told to serve them or they have summoned you. A Master or Mistress has the right to ignore your request to provide service and to NOT have to release you back to the furs or acknowledge you in any way. That is why you do not kneel before them to offer, unless instructed.
25. A slave may not pick or choose who to serve. Offer to ALL, from the serving furs, and not to one particular favorite Master or Mistress. Although you can always be the first to offer when they enter :)
26. Gorean kajirae do not curtsey or bow. This is submissive behavior best left to the regular BDSM and Midieval roleplaying channels. It is not the way on Gor. kajirae always keep their head high to show respect to the kolar they wear or to reveal their unowned status. The only time a kajirae bows her head is during a serve to offer the drink or food.
27. Do not message a fellow slave while they are serving. And if you are serving do not engage in private messages. The only exceptions are if it is an Inn Master or the First Girl. Then be very prompt about reading and answering the private message. It is very rude to your sisters to message while they are focusing on feeling and creating their serves. Serving is a very formal occasion and should be treated as such by all.
28. When on a Free Person's furs or the serving furs, you must "nadu" properly when the Inn is public, unless otherwise instructed. A kajira is not permitted to get up and roam the Inn at her leisure unless she is cleaning or performing a task that befits a slave. Laying, reclining or assuming any other position but nadu is disrespectful to your ko`lar and training as kajirae.
29. There are two times the nadu postion must be fully described in every detail...when told to nadu by a FP, or when performing a formal serve. NEVER at any time does a girl use the word "nadu" to describe her posture. "nadu" is a command, not a description! The same goes for all Gorean positions.
30. Kajirae do not "hop, jump, prance, skip, bounce, scamper,etc", especially during a formal serve. Kajirae are sensual, graceful and skilled in their trained movements.
31. Do not tell a FP you have served that you are "pleased" to have served them. On Gor, *your* pleasure is of no consequence to those you serve. It is assumed you find pleasure in serving. It can be a "privilege" or a slave may be "grateful for being allowed" to serve someone. But to tell a FP that you were pleased or made happy to serve them assumes your pleasure matters to them and implies there are times you are not so happy to serve.
33. An Inn slave wearing the {FBI} collar is expected to serve a FP sexually . If there is an extreme problem or reason a slave does not feel she can do this, she should contact an Inn Master with a GOOD explanation.
34. A slave wearing an {FBI} collar, should understand that she belongs to all the Inn Masters, for use, service and punishment/correction. An Inn slave refers to all Inn Masters as "Master", not as "her Master" or "my Master".
35. In the event an Inn slave wishes to beg the collar of a certain FP, she should approach the Inn Owner to discuss this. It will be decided on a case by case basis. To beg release from the Inn collar only to take the collar of a FP without discussing it first with the Inn Owner, will make the slave and the new Master unwelcome in the Inn.
General Guidelines For Slaves -
1.Greet all Freeperson's with Master/Mistress, if the gender cannot be determined by the nick, use Master till corrected. Checking the hostmask of a name often reveals the gender. If you are wrong, apologize profusely, and then make note.
2.While Freeperson's are NOT always right, they are by definition, NEVER Wrong! Therefore slaves do not argue with, contradict or instruct a Freeperson. Slaves have the last two words in any disagreement ...those being "Yes Master" or "Yes Mistress".
3.Slaves have no rights, you have nothing not given you by an Owner or Free Person. Even your name is not your own, it can be changed at any time. Any items given to you by an Owner or Free Person, can just as easily be taken from you. If you are entrusted to carry the name of an Owner, silks, jewelry, etc... guard them carefully and with your life.
4.The merest whim of your Owner is your highest law. The collar entrusted to you carries the honor of your Owner, you and you alone, can make it as light or as heavy as you wish it to be.
5.Jealousy and possessiveness of one's Owner has killed more slaves than disobedience. Your Owner's actions are unquestionable.
6.Slaves are forbidden to message any Master/Mistress in any channel without first seeking permission in the open channel. Failure to do so could result in the slave being whipped. Also, it is normal honorable protocal for a Free Person to ask permission to whisper with you when you are both in the same channel. Then you move to kneel next to them to whisper so that you are taken out of service to the tavern/inn.
7.Slaves who "entice" with slave heat, should be prepared to act upon such actions. Slave heat should NOT be used unless the slave truly wishes to "entice" the Master/Mistress. If you show it, be prepared to use it.
8.Slave's are not permitted to enter into the conversation's of the Freeperson's unless permission is first given. If you wish to converse with your sister's do so in msg's if the Inn has guests. Do not discuss URTHLY (everyday) issues on GOR, in an open channel.
9.Slaves are not to touch any form of weaponry or money...each of these items can carry the penalty of death for a slave.
10.Slaves are slave's on all nets and channels, to be caught as a Freeperson, or under a nick, or uncollared under another nick, could result in death for a slave, or at bare mininum, branded a traitor(ess) to Gor.
11.Slaves are to be pleasing at all times, there is no room for PMS, or bad moods. If your not up to being pleasing, do not enter the channels. Excellence and perfection in a slave is the goal and only that will be tolerated.
12.Slaves are to speak in the 3rd person speech. Slaves do not have the words "I", "me" or "mine" in their vocabulary on IRC Gor.
General Rules on Gor for slaves:
1.Permission may not always be needed to enter a Gorean Channel, but permission to leave is always required. Permission is also needed to go AFK (away from keyboard) but if your going to be longer than just a minute or two, it is best to ask to leave the channel. If a slave is granted permission to go AFK, the nick of the slave should reflect such ... ie: spirit-AFK. If a slave is in the alcove, the nick of the slave should also reflect such ... ie: spirit-ALC. This helps the channel OPs to know the whereabouts of the slave. It offers the slave the greatest protection. When reentering from AFK a slave should kneel and beg permission to return, and only after being given permission to return should they remove the AFK from their nick. To speak without removing the AFK is the same as yelling into the channel from the outside.
2.Popups and Macro's are forbidden in most channels.The exception at FBI is in a prepared dance. It is to the slave's advantage to continually type out your service, leaves room for creativity, charm and wit, which are rewarded in the end.
3.Slaves cannot serve more than one Owner at a time, therefore a slave cannot be in more than ONE channel at a time. Greeting new arrivals with even a smile while serving a FreePerson is also forbidden. Finish your serving, await permission to greet or to be released from service, then greet the new arrivals accordingly. Remember the FreePerson you are serving is your top priority and the only place your attention belongs.
4.Slaves cannot be forced into any alcove, nor can a slave be forced into a collar. If a slave feels overwhelmed by a Freeperson's advances contact an Inn Master
5.Fidgeting and laziness are not pleasing. Idle slaves are not pleasing. If your not serving a Freeperson busy yourself with cooking, cleaning, or speak to your sisters in msg's and learn more of GOR. Slaves do not "sigh", "yawn", "sit", "lounge", etc. Offering service should be done from the serving furs and offered to all FreePersons. Slaves may not pick and choosewho they will serve. Approaching a FreePerson should not be done unless instructed to serve them or they call you to them. Remember, a Free Person has the right to ignore a slave offering service.
6.In regards to slave heat, new slaves to GOR or to the Inn should NOT use "slave heat" in their serves. When traveling, learn the channel rules regarding such by observation or speaking to the other slaves in the channel if in doubt. IF a slave choses to use "slave heat" in their service to a Freeperson then be prepared to use it as a slave.
7.Visiting other Tavern/Inn's carries the weight and risk of those places... be cautious. Not only is your reptutation being made, but the honor of your Owner or the reputation of the Inn, is at stake, as well.
8.Slaves are to be pleasing at all times. Your life on GOR depends greatly on it. The slave should always be in good spirits and ready to serve upon demand.
9.Slaves think before reacting to any situation. What occurs in any Tavern/Inn is between Freepersons. It concerns no slave, unless the slave has been found displeasing.
10.GOR is NOT fair. GOR is NOT just.
Additional Info Regarding this Inn concerning slaves in general:
Slaves may not be forced a collar. No Freeperson may place upon the neck of a slave a collar that the slave does not want. A slave upon finding a Freeperson, to whom they wish to bear the collar, must beg for the collar in open channel. A Gorean Collar is for a lifetime, be sure you know the Freeperson to whose collar the slave is taking. Uncollared slaves should NOT be in a hurry to be collared. Take your time, get to know all Freepersons.
Once a slave has begged the collar, the Freeperson has two choices. They may either collar the slave or slay the slave (slaying is not allowed at FBI). BE SURE you know the Freeperson before begging/accepting any collar.
Once the slave is collared, the new Owner, may or may not, at the discretion of the Owner, whip the newly collared slave. This is not for punishment, or any wrongs done. This is simply because the Freeperson can. Some may call it an instructional whipping, to show the slave who is Owner, who is slave. These whippings may be in an open channel or in private.
Uncollared slave's may not be forced into sexual favors. The slave does have the right to say "no". (It is best to /msg the FP privately first and explain your wish to not continue or engage in sexual activity to avoid any problems or misunderstandings, before involving an Inn Master.) If the Freeperson insists, contact a channel OP. Collared slave's may not be taken to an alcove, unless it is by their Owner, or the Owner has permitted such activities.
