Norma reported that all of the judges results were in
and everyting has been turned over to Edith. Edith noted she has about 11 more
items to put in the Driftwood and the
book will be ready for proofing. She hopes that the proofreaders will be able
to get it back to her by the July 25th luncheon meeting.
Then Edith
will be able to get the book over to the publishers! The publisher will need at least part of
the cost at that time.
There was one
problem with one of our poetry judges, who could not find any poetry worthy of
printing. A new judge had to be found.
Edith will
setting up a special section in this year’s book for photos. There were several
photos that did not fit well with any story. She felt that these deserved a
place in the book.
