NO PASARAN

In memory of Fred White born Ogmore Vale July 1904 who lost his life whilst serving with the International Brigade at Brunete July 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.

This plaque was unveiled at the 50th South Wales Miners' Eisteddfod held here on Saturday 9th October 1999 by His Worship the Major of the county borough of Bridgend councillor Lyn Jenkins.
