The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.
-Mark Twain

It’s a long and twisted story, and I only have so much space. But I'll do what I can do! Spokane’s been my home forever, I’ve hardly ventured outside of this state except for a few meager times. My parents divorced when I was six and after a couple of years my mom met and married Tony Garibaldi. At this time I had one sister and we both lived with my mom and stepdad. Another year after that my daddy moved to California and then soon after met and married Trudy Astin. I get along really well with both stepsides, so I guess I’m lucky there. Don’t get to see my daddy too much, but I do when I can. Needless to say, California is one of the places that I’ve ventured to.

Well, my family is pretty fertile ‘cause now I’m the oldest of nine kids who range in the ages of 12 to 30!!! Three of ‘em are from the California crowd and the rest from here. I moved to the valley here in this area when I was in the fourth grade and in the fifth grade I met my best friend Gayle. I was always the sort to get into trouble and she was always the good kind. Of course, I had to do my very best to change her, what fun is someone who’s always good?!?! It took me forever to get there, but I eventually did and now she’s warped too!! It’s about time, but it was worth all the effort because now she’s more fun than ever to be around and not so quiet, which I always hate! Being around quiet people is very hard because you have to do all of the talking and that’s just hard sometimes, especially for most people! But I somehow made it through that and now sometimes I can’t even get her to shut up!! Some people either take it to one extreme or the other, whatever happened to middle ground?!

Anyway, I tried the college thang briefly but decided that I don’t really like school, being the sort who prefers not to have to get up early or be stuck up all night studying. Besides, there’s just nothing that I was interested in. So I’ve bummed around with all sorts of different jobs, I’ve tried a lot. I got a job with a cab company a couple years ago thanks to John and I’m actually still at that job. Through all of it I’ve always done some construction, I like building things. Especially things that last and are used for a long time. And in case anyone is wondering, no I’m not a burly girl! I’m actually a little shorter than average and I happen to wear a petite size! So don’t go stereotyping and stuff!

Well, a couple years ago I met Steve and we got married and were married for about six months before he got pissed at me and knocked me around. That was the last time I was with him and he ended up going to jail for around a year. He got out not too long ago though and is a real pain. Well, that’s all I really want to talk about that, it’s not exactly my favorite subject.

Anyway, when it comes to RP, I try to make unique characters. I like to give each one something different to make them special, usually some little quirk or something. I don’t favor good or bad characters, just different ones. I mean, what’s the use of making a character that is so much like all the other characters out there?! Our little group here is definitely very good at making characters that people remember. And between us all, I think we have the most unique bunch of people both in character and out of character that’s around. And that’s just the way we like it.

Newsflash!!!! As of earlier this year I, Laura Kyles, became involved with the coolest, greatest, mostest wonderful man in the whooooolllle world!! Peter and I are now very very serious and I am so very lucky to have him! So any of you women who had him in your sights, you'll just have to find someone else! 'Cause he's mine mine mine and I love him more than anything!
